Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Ahilya Smriti Marathon Dehradun 2025, held at Pavilion Ground in Dehradun under the theme “Ek Virasat – Ek Sankalp” (One Legacy – One Resolution).

The Chief Minister flagged off the marathon and also joined the youth in running a part of the race, encouraging participants with his presence and energy. Speaking at the event, he said that such marathons not only promote fitness but also strengthen social awareness and unity. “Events like the Ahilya Smriti Marathon Dehradun 2025 help build a healthy society while spreading important messages of collective responsibility,” he added.
Strong Political Support Seen at the Marathon
The event saw strong participation from political leaders and public representatives. Alongside the Chief Minister, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, General Secretary (Organisation) Ajey Kumar, Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, Metropolitan BJP President Siddharth Agrawal, MLA Bharat Chaudhary, and senior party members Anil Dabbu, Shyam Agrawal, and Hem Bajrangi were present. BJP Yuva Morcha Metropolitan President Devendra Singh Bisht also joined the event, showing support for youth engagement and fitness initiatives.
